Countless ESPers gathered in Shinjuku.
They all came here carrying their own reasons.
Those who lost their place to return. Those seeking freedom. Those seeking meaning in their own power.
But I know.
The reason we gathered here is something much greater.
ESP isn't just some superpower.
Evolution Special Power
An evolved, special power.
It is the name that shows who we are.
This power, given by the glowing fish. It is not a convenient ability granted by chance.
It is the proof for humanity to advance to the next stage.
Then, why must we continue to obey the human society of the past?
Those who have power, and those who do not.
If that difference was born into the world where we lived as the same humans...
Then continuing to look away from that difference is what's truly unnatural.
I have been taught this since long ago.
What is ESP?
Where is humanity headed?
And—who are we?
That is why I am here.
And I want the people gathered here to know as well.
We aren't just humans who happened to get ESP.
We are the New Mankind.
And I am here to convey that fact.
