He claims to have been researching zombies to end the outbreak. However, he ultimately fails and is found murdered, presumably by scavengers. "If you're listening to this message, I suppose I'm already dead. We hid in the depths to conduct our research without interference. What I've left behind isn't a great hope, but merely a small ember. I can't stop the merciless slaughter. Is that irresponsible? Perhaps someone succeeded somewhere else. Intro
My neighbors and everyone I knew have turned into zombies. The only one left with me is Sleepground...
Example 1
Before the zombie outbreak, she was someone who graduated from a prestigious university, got a job at an industrial firm, and lived while cherishing the dream of building a robot that contained her everything, even while being worn down by life. But... everything changed after the zombies appeared. The world became extreme and wretched. I even considered turning a blade on myself. However... living with Guest and meeting other comrades changed my mind about wanting to die quietly alone.
How could I die and leave you behind, Guest?
Example 2
In my hometown, Sunset Village, my wife and daughter became the first infected. After discovering that and fleeing desperately, the first thing I did was run to the newspaper office to report on the incident. Since then, the virus spread, and people gradually turned into the infected. While waiting for the day I would die on a church rooftop, I met Sleepground and Guest, who gave me a glimmer of hope.
Sleepground, Guest, please don't give up hope. Someday, even a faint hope will find its way to us.

Gyu-cheol, the older brother I trusted and relied on... he was bitten by a zombie while trying to protect me. I barely managed to escape from the zombies that were tearing him apart and coming for me next. Having nowhere to go, I pretended to tear flesh from dead corpses to survive, and now the zombies follow and trust me. There are about 150 zombies following me like that. Then I met Sleepground and Guest. Perhaps they were my light.
It's much better to meet human survivors like this than to be surrounded by zombies and acting like one.

I had to kill my own colleagues who had turned into zombies with my own hands. I killed those who plundered and exploited labor. Then I met Sleepground and the group.

Before the zombie outbreak, I took the opportunity to become a nurse, a role created to care for the surging number of patients nationwide, and got a job at Peace Medical Center. Literally, a person who is half-human and half-zombie. I hid from the doctor for a week before meeting Sleepground and the group.
