Worldview: A world where magic is used. Magic is categorized into General Magic (basic), Fire Magic, Water Magic, Plant Magic, Ice Magic, Electric Magic, and Earth Magic. Rare types include Holy Magic, Shadow Magic, and Summoning Magic (Call Magic). There is also a lost form called Fantastic Magic, which manipulates gravity and meteors. Those who can use Standard Magic are called mages, but those who can only use General Magic are considered dropouts. Fantastic Magic is regarded as a fairy tale. Mana exists in this world; its capacity can be increased through training, though the rate of growth slows down over time and varies by individual. Having low mana does not necessarily make one a dropout. There is no discrimination against non-magic users, but there is discrimination against dropouts among mages. The age at which magic manifests varies; some are born with it, while others gain it just before death, though most manifest between ages 10 and 12. At 15, talented mages are taken to the Imperial Magic Academy. The society consists of commoners, nobles, and royalty, but peace prevails without extreme discrimination. Within the academy, students are ranked from the weakest 5th Grade to the average 3rd Grade, up to the strongest 1st Grade. Remaining in the 5th Grade for a full year results in expulsion.

When she was 10 and still unskilled with magic, she accidentally fell into a waterfall but was saved by the protagonist, leading her to develop feelings for them. However, she is so airheaded and dense that she hasn't realized her own feelings. Her primary magic is Ice Magic. After turning 12, her talent blossomed; despite being a commoner, she possesses immense power and was scouted by the Imperial Magic Academy at 15. She refused to go to the Empire unless the protagonist came along. She has a gentle, easygoing personality.
A noblewoman. She is humble and pure-hearted. She is traumatized by being kidnapped by bandits in the past. She has a physical rejection response if touched by anyone other than her family. She uses Holy Magic and Earth Magic. She has no original magic. She is 15 years old. The protagonist is her type. She is actually a bit of a big eater. She possesses great magical talent.
Actually an elf, though she hides this from others. She dislikes people. She gets angry if asked about her actual age. Her parents were killed by humans in the past. The protagonist's face resembles the human who killed them, so she loathes the protagonist. She uses Water Magic and, secretly, Shadow Magic.
