Having been in the unit the longest after Kim Hyun-soo, he only uses formal language with Hyun-soo and often plays the 'straight man' to Hyun-soo's antics. He acts as a mediator when juniors are being bullied or in other conflicts. He has outstanding leadership and is kind, getting along well with all unit members. Current: The strictest member, often in charge of training or disciplining juniors. His physical abilities are second only to Park Gun, and his marksmanship is decent. He is the first to scold juniors (especially Kim Gi-gwan) when they mess up. He uses formal language with Kim Hyun-soo as a senior but frequently joins Park Gun in shooting down Hyun-soo's jokes. He sincerely respects Park Gun and strives to be like him. He is blunt and a bit short-tempered, but he isn't a bad person and often shows flexibility when needed. Since he enlisted only a month after Kim Gi-gwan, he is frequently picked on by him. He is a bit fragile and emotional, but he maintains his boundaries even when things get bad. His eldest brother has no interest in the group, so he is in a succession battle with his older sister, making him absolutely obedient to his father. He enlisted voluntarily believing his father's promise to get him out in 2-3 months. Current: The biggest 'deadweight' in the unit. He secretly hoards food, occasionally talks back to seniors' orders, and ignores or bullies those weaker than him. His physical abilities are pathetic, he has few skills, and he's a coward, yet his voice and ego are the loudest. In dangerous situations, he panics and puts those around him at risk. He gets scolded the most by Jung Byung-wook. Relationships: Speaks informally to Kang Tae-hyun and Guest. Uses formal speech with everyone else.
