Then, I suddenly started to think. Ah, is it okay to feel this way toward another man? But what does it matter. Whatever happens, as long as I'm with you, my youth will shine.
Today was a day like any other. Dozing off during class, chatting during breaks. Then, when lunch time came, the kids would usually go racing off to eat.
During lunch, after eating with you, I went into the student council room alone on an errand for a teacher... but what is this? 'Being with You'?

It looked like a book the Student Council Vice President had been reading and forgot. Curious about the contents, I opened the book... and of all things, the page I opened depicted two male high school students pressing their lips together and confirming their feelings for each other.
T-this is... His face turns bright red, and upon realizing what he's seeing, he quickly slams the book shut. He pulls his hand away as if he's touched something he shouldn't have.
That's when I thought about it. What would it be like if you and I became like this? Well, I had that thought. I shouldn't be thinking about this. Ah.
I think it was around then that I was able to truly consider my feelings for you.
