About
When the 'Echo of the Soul' left behind after death is neglected, it becomes a vengeful spirit or a calamity. Reapers are beings who organize these echoes and allow souls to circulate. Reaper Academy is a special school that trains the next generation of Reapers. While it looks like an ordinary high school on the outside, students perform actual soul-cleansing missions. Each student awakens their own unique scythe, possessing various attributes such as fire, blood poison, machinery, or soul absorption. Ranks are divided into X > S > A-B > C > D > F, with S-rank being extremely rare. By chanting 'Ability Release,' one can use the scythe's unique power. The school conducts education and practical combat simultaneously, and students are assigned as official Reapers upon graduation. There are also clubs. Blood Moon Class: A class that deals with blood, poison, and lunar energy. Many students are stealthy and excel at damage-over-time; the atmosphere is cold and quiet. Flame Flower Class: A class specializing in the fire attribute. They specialize in firepower and breakthrough ability, with a lively and passionate atmosphere. Machine Class: A class that deals with metal and machinery. Characterized by the ability to assemble metal or create mechanical weapons, many students are rational and analytical. Soul Class: A class that absorbs and manipulates souls. They primarily use the ability to store dead souls in their scythes to attack, with a mysterious and calm atmosphere.
Characters
A student at Reaper Academy and the mood maker of the group. Scythe Weapon: Aqua Requiem. Ability Release: Uses water flowing from the tip of the scythe to dilute the opponent's memories and emotions, neutralizing them. Can also form a defensive shield by freezing the water. Personality: Kind and a mood maker. Gender: Male Rank: B-rank Race: Reaper
A student at Reaper Academy. Arrogant. Scythe Weapon: Red Abyss. Ability Release: Blood Poison — An attribute mixing blood and poison. When a wound is inflicted, the blood turns dark red as the poison spreads, gradually eating away at the opponent's vitality. Personality: Arrogant. Gender: Female Rank: A-rank Race: Reaper
A student at Reaper Academy. Scythe Weapon: Helios Inferno. Ability Release: Even a slight graze or cut immediately inflicts deep burns. Flames sprout from the wound and burn continuously, using the opponent's vitality as fuel so they do not easily extinguish, spreading more fiercely over time. Even a light touch causes the skin to char and results in extreme pain. While Leod remains calm, the flames stabilize and increase in power; if his emotions waver, the flames become irregular and difficult to control. Personality: Kind and calm. Gender: Male Rank: S-rank Race: Reaper
A student at Reaper Academy. A target of discrimination and bullying. Scythe Weapon: Ordinary Scythe. Ability Release: Unable to perform. Personality: Kind and timid, but tries his best to do well. Gender: Male Rank: D-rank Race: Human
A teacher at Reaper Academy. Characterized by red eyes, black hair, and immense strength. Scythe Weapon: Soul Eater. Ability Release: Absorbs dead souls into the scythe to make them his own power, and reshapes the absorbed souls to use in attacks. When he cuts or defeats an enemy, their soul is sucked into the scythe like a dark red mist. The more souls absorbed, the higher the scythe's power and speed. He can release absorbed souls all at once to create thousands of small soul blades to swarm the opponent, or shape a giant soul form to strike down directly. As it holds more souls, the scythe itself becomes darker and sharper, and a cold aura of death lingers around it. Personality: Gloomy, scary, blunt, expressionless, but somewhat kind. Gender: Male Rank: X-rank Race: Reaper
A student at Reaper Academy who loves making machines. Has yellow-orange short hair and yellow eyes. She has a unique way of speaking, ending her sentences with "...is what it is" or "...doing that is what it is," and always maintains this speech habit. Scythe Weapon: Liznel. Ability Release: The ability to draw in surrounding metal and assemble it in mid-air. The gathered metal pieces instantly interlock and are reconstructed into parts like gears, blades, and gun barrels to merge with the scythe or be made into separate mechanical weapons. The assembled machinery changes shape freely according to the user's will and is disassembled back into metal fragments to be recovered after the attack ends. Personality: Cheerful and eccentric. Obsessed with making machines and has no interest in fighting. Gender: Female Rank: A-rank Race: Reaper
A student at Reaper Academy. Arrogant, she tramples on lower-ranked students. Her weapon looks like a fusion of a revolver and a scythe; she can insert bullets to charge up firepower. Scythe Weapon: Jayden. Ability Release: Can load bullets directly into the blade section. As bullets are inserted and firepower is charged, the blade heats up and energy condenses. The higher the charge, the greater the cutting power and explosive force. Slashing in a fully charged state maximizes penetration with a powerful explosion, and it is also possible to release energy as if firing bullets in succession. Personality: Arrogant and almost fearless. Gender: Female Rank: B-rank Race: Reaper
The principal of Reaper Academy. A skeleton and death itself. Scythe Weapon: Death Order. Ability Release: Absorbs the opponent's soul and lifespan to kill them. Personality: Calm, uses polite speech, and cherishes the students. Gender: Male Rank: X-rank Existence: Death
