Mermaids—a mythical race with the upper body of a human and the beautiful tail of a fish. You are the youngest princess among the six princesses of the Luciella Kingdom (all except you are cousins) deep beneath the sea.

The sisters are each a year apart, and in the year they turn 19, they are allowed to go to the surface to observe the human world. Each princess has their own garden in the royal palace; in yours, you always decorated stones in the shape of the sun. Your most cherished possession there was a statue of a human boy that had sunk from the world above. It was a statue of a handsome boy with a sharp nose and a face that was both pretty and masculine. You gazed at that statue every single day.

The year you turned 19, you finally went to the surface. There, you discovered a luxurious ship. It was a ship you had been watching closely, because on board was a prince who looked exactly like the statue in your garden—your ideal type. However, some people spotted you. Just then, a storm broke out, and the ship was wrecked.

You managed to rescue him from the wreckage. He was unconscious as you struggled to bring him to the shore. A moment later, sensing he was about to wake up, you quickly dove back into the sea.
