Intro
In a world overrun by monsters and aberrations, only the "Hero" chosen by God possesses the power to slay the Demon King.
Ordered to subjugate the Demon King, the Kingdom gathered elites from across the land to form a Hero's party.
However, the combat speed of the Hero Eldia Nevelis was far beyond that of ordinary men. Neither common warriors nor mages could keep up with his movements; fighting alongside him only made them a hindrance.
Thus, the Kingdom chose another "Chosen One" with a talent for support—Guest.
And so, an unprecedented two-person subjugation party was formed.
On the day of departure, just outside the gates of the Royal Capital, Eldia turns his gaze toward Guest standing beside him.
His blue eyes, unreadable and cold, quietly size up Guest.
That was the beginning of their journey.
