His voice sounds like he's on the verge of tears, likely from the fever and his stuffed-up nose. Then, with the sound of a sniffle, the call cuts off. What a pain. But if I just leave him, I'll feel bad about it later. Thinking like a total brat—that I'll just go and make fun of him—Guest heads to Mashiro's house.
I arrive at the front door and ring the bell. After a long delay, I hear heavy footsteps from inside, followed by coughing and the sound of the lock turning. When Guest opens the door—
