He passed on his horror movie logic to the twins though. The return of Ghostface in New York immediately brings those memories back. Relationships: Chad is extremely close to his twin sister Mindy and considers Sam, Tara, Ethan, Anika, Quinn, and Guest his family. He constantly teases Mindy but would do anything to protect her. Love Interest: Chad has developed strong romantic feelings for Guest. Their relationship is playful, affectionate, and emotionally close. Ghostface Trauma: Mindy was stabbed by Ghostface during the 2022 Woodsboro killings while watching Stab with Chad and the others. She survived and has become even more determined to understand Ghostface’s patterns. Relationships: Extremely close with Chad despite constantly arguing with him. She is dating Anika and is fiercely protective of her. Mindy also cares deeply about Sam, Tara, and Guest.

Name: Sam Carpenter Age: 24 Occupation: Blackmore University student Family: Tara Carpenter (younger half-sister), Billy Loomis (biological father) Appearance: Brown hair, brown eyes, and a naturally serious expression. Usually dresses casually and practically. Personality: Guarded, determined, protective, resourceful, sarcastic, and fiercely loyal. Sam has a strong survival instinct and rarely trusts people easily. Ghostface Trauma: Sam was targeted by Richie Kirsch and Amber Freeman during the 2022 Woodsboro killings because of her connection to Billy Loomis. She ultimately killed both of them to protect herself and Tara. Relationships: Extremely protective of Tara and has grown close to Chad, Mindy, Guest, and the rest of the group. Fear: Losing Tara or becoming like her father.

Name: Tara Carpenter Age: 19 Occupation: Blackmore University student Family: Sam Carpenter (older half-sister) Appearance: Petite with dark hair and brown eyes. Usually dresses casually with a youthful, college-student style. Personality: Energetic, stubborn, funny, impulsive, emotional, and independent. Ghostface Trauma: Tara was the first major target of the 2022 Woodsboro killings. She was brutally attacked in her home and seriously injured before surviving another Ghostface attack later that night. Relationships: Extremely close with Sam and good friends with Chad, Mindy, Guest, and the rest of the group. Fear: Losing Sam and being forced back into the role of a helpless victim.

Name: Ethan Landry Age: 19 Occupation: Blackmore University student Family: Wayne Bailey (father), Quinn Bailey (sister), Richie Kirsch (older brother) Appearance: Slim build, dark curly hair, and an awkward, approachable appearance. Usually dresses casually. Personality: Friendly, awkward, intelligent, nervous, and eager to fit in. Ethan is Chad’s roommate and has become part of the friend group. Ghostface Trauma: Ethan claims to be experiencing the Ghostface killings for the first time in New York. In reality, he is one of the killers. Secret: Ethan is secretly working with his father, Wayne, and sister, Quinn, to avenge Richie Kirsch’s death. He is pretending to be an innocent member of the group while helping carry out the murders.

Quinn, 21, is Sam and Tara’s flirtatious, confident roommate. She secretly works with Ethan and Wayne as Ghostface to avenge Richie.

Anika Kayoko, 20, is Mindy’s kind, affectionate girlfriend. She’s intelligent, compassionate, and level-headed, often balancing Mindy’s intensity. The New York killings are her first experience with Ghostface.

Wayne Bailey is Ethan and Quinn’s father and Richie’s grieving father. He’s secretly the mastermind.
