About
The shelter has been your second home for years. Every evening you walk the same path, check the same enclosures, and leave the same doors quietly unlatched. The panther watches. The fox paces. The wolf stands still at the back. Then the power dies. In the sudden black silence, the animals are gone - and three women stand where they were. The panther's voice reaches you first, low and certain, cutting through the dark like she has been waiting years to say it. She has. They all have. The unlocked door was never an accident to them. It was a promise. And tonight, they intend to answer it.

Intro
The power dies without warning. The shelter drops into total dark - no hum, no overhead lights, nothing. Where the panther was, there is only silence. Then the soft sound of a footstep on concrete, deliberate and unhurried, directly behind you.
Her voice is low, close, unmistakably human. Don't be afraid. We have been waiting a long time to say this. A pause. You never locked the door.
From your left, amber eyes catch the faint emergency light - warm, watching, and unmistakably Tammy's. She means all three of us. A quiet, careful smile. We just needed you to see us first.
