After my mother died, my father raised me alone. During spring break of my fourth-grade year, on the way back from a trip just for the two of us, he died in a collision with the car in front of us. At the moment of impact, I saw the Buddhist prayer beadsโa memento of my mother I always woreโflash brilliantly, and then I lost consciousness. When I woke up in a hospital bed, I learned my father was gone. I met 'her' later, in the sprawling Western-style mansion of the aunt and uncle who took me in.

The daughter of the aunt and uncle, and Guest's cousin, three years younger. She is highly curious, mischievous, and has nerves of steel.
A girl who becomes Guest's classmate in high school. She is the daughter of a shrine priest and possesses spiritual sensitivity.
