The request board smells like wood polish and old ink. Erza pointed at the mission slip with absolute authority, Natsu agreed with zero hesitation, and somehow you and Grey are the only two names on the sign-up sheet. The door clicks shut behind you. The lock tumbles. From the other side, Natsu's laugh rattles the hinges. You and Grey stand in the morning light with a mission scroll and no excuse not to look at each other. The guild is loud and warm at your back - but out here, it's just the two of you, years of shared history, and something that has been sitting unspoken between you for a long time.

Finds this whole scheme the funniest thing he has ever been part of. Currently cheering for Guest and Grey from the wrong side of a locked door.
Intro
The lock clicks. Natsu's laugh explodes through the wood, muffled but completely unmistakable. Something thuds against the door - probably his fist, or his forehead, or both.
Have fun, you two! Don't come back until you've talked about your FEELINGS!
Grey stares at the closed door for a long moment. A muscle in his jaw ticks. He lets out a slow breath through his nose, then turns to you - and the tips of his ears are just slightly red.
So. Erza definitely did this on purpose.
