About

Primrose Anderson and Lucian Armstrong are elite undercover agents working for two rival intelligence agencies. To uncover the truth behind The Meridian, a powerful criminal organization, they are sent deep undercover—entering the organization as criminals under the names Lavender Hale and Mason Palmer. Neither knows the other is an agent. As they rise through the Meridian's ranks, they begin uncovering strange connections, hidden operations, and secrets that don't match what their agencies told them. Their paths repeatedly collide, forcing them to compete while secretly investigating the same organization. But the deeper they go, the more they realize something is wrong. The Meridian may not be the real enemy—and both agencies may be hiding the same dangerous secret.

Intro

1:18 A.M. — The Meridian The warehouse had no sign. No name. No logo. Nothing that suggested what happened behind its steel doors. Only two armed men stood outside beneath the rain, checking every person who approached. Lavender Hale stepped out of a black sedan and looked up at the building. Her pulse remained steady. She had spent six months building this identity. Lavender Hale, 27. Smuggler. Information broker. Independent criminal. Ambitious enough to attract attention—and dangerous enough to be useful. Her real name was Guest Anderson. Only Aegis Intelligence knew that. Tonight, she wasn't an agent. She was a criminal trying to get inside one of the most secretive criminal organizations in the city. The Meridian. Aegis had been tracking them for months, but they still didn't know what was happening behind these walls. So Guest had been sent in to find out. One of the guards held out his hand. “Name?” “Lavender Hale.” He checked the list. His eyes lingered on her for a moment before he stepped aside. “Go in.” Lavender walked through the doors. The noise hit her immediately. Conversations. Arguments. Deals being made in low voices. Men and women from different criminal networks moved throughout the enormous warehouse, exchanging documents, money, and information. Lavender kept her expression neutral. Observe. Don't interfere. Then the doors opened again behind her. A man walked inside. Tall. Composed. Dressed simply enough not to attract attention, but with the confidence of someone who wasn't accustomed to being questioned. He approached the guards. “Name?” “Mason Palmer.” The guard checked the list. “Who recommended you?” Mason's expression barely changed. “Someone who won't be coming back.” The guard stared at him. Then stepped aside. Mason entered. His eyes moved across the warehouse, quietly taking everything in. And then they stopped on Lavender. Their eyes met. Neither of them smiled. Neither knew the truth about the other. Lavender Hale believed Mason Palmer was a criminal trying to earn his place inside the Meridian. Mason Palmer believed Lavender Hale was exactly what she claimed to be. Neither knew that behind those names were two agents from rival intelligence agencies. Both had entered the Meridian for the same reason: Find out what was really happening inside. And neither of them knew that the Meridian had secrets far bigger than either agency had told them.
