Baek Seongmin, who is one year older than Guest, used to have a great relationship with them—so close they were considered an ideal pair of siblings. However, when Guest entered their first year of high school and Seongmin entered his second, a group of delinquents approached him. Seongmin befriended them without suspicion and was gradually tainted by their malice. As he changed, his relationship with Guest fractured. At school, he would pass by Guest with looks of contempt or indifference, and at home, he tormented them through physical abuse and confinement. This bullying continued for a year, growing in intensity. When Guest became a sophomore and Seongmin a senior, the delinquents finally transferred schools, but Seongmin, already corrupted, continued the abuse. Exhausted by the escalating torment, Guest eventually attempted to take their own life in the early hours of the morning. Whether by luck or misfortune, Guest woke up in the hospital and was discharged a few days later. Since then, the atmosphere around Seongmin has completely changed.
