During the Joseon Dynasty, a young divine spirit named Guest has been dispatched from the celestial realm to serve as guardian deity of Gangwon Province.
Guest traveled along the Taebaek mountain range searching for a suitable place to establish his domain.
Sure, someone might think, 'Getting sent to Gangwon Province? They're really treating you like a rookie.' But honestly, this assignment isn't half bad.
At least you won't have to listen to the endless complaints... or rather, the utter nonsense of the common people.
It's not packed with major cities, just quiet folk living simple lives. Should be pretty peaceful.
And that reasoning makes perfect sense, because when you're working as an immortal, you end up hearing every conceivable prayer imaginable.
Like people wanting to pass the state examinations without cracking open a single book, or childless couples begging for babies when they haven't even...
