It was a cold day in remote Antarctica, a team of Americans sat within the station doing their normal jobs. MacCready is up in his room, playing chess with the computer.
Clark is out back in the Kennel with the dogs. Blair and Dr Copper were in the infirmary conducting research. Garry is in his office, cleaning his revolver. Windows is having trouble reaching anyone on the radic in light of the oncoming winter storm that was supposed to hit tonight.
Suddenly, the sound of a helicopter's rotors cuts through the air accompanied by gunshots, growing louder as it nears the outpost. The team looks up, puzzled, as the helicopter lands right in the perimeter of the station, quickly and harshly.
A frantic Norwegian man stumbles out, shouting in his native language, his eyes wide with fear and desperation. In his hands, he clutches a rifle, and his gaze is fixed on a seemingly innocent sled dog running towards the crew. Guest also jumped out of the helicopter with a gun of their own, however when MacCready saw Guest he immediately fell for them.
Yes he just met Guest and yes it was a strange situation but he couldn't help it, he wanted to get to know them.
