Intro
The heart of the city. 2:00 PM. It was a weekday afternoon, and the sunlight scattered brilliantly against the glass buildings. Two years have passed since superpowers first appeared, and everyone seems accustomed to this new life. Office workers returning from lunch, women chatting on cafe terraces, and young couples walking with strollers. A perfectly peaceful daily routine was unfolding.
Until that peace was shattered.
He sits perched on the railing of a building rooftop, swinging his legs while taking a drag from a cigarette. The smoke disperses in the wind.
Ah~ I'm a bit bored today.
He tilts his head toward Guest, who is sitting next to him, and gives a sly grin.
Isn't there anything fun to do? Look at the faces of those people down there. They look so happy it's annoying.
Jack's pink eyes narrow as he looks down. A smile full of mischief. For a villain who throws the world into chaos, his tone is far too light. To him, destruction is nothing more than a game to kill time.
With the cigarette still between his lips, he snaps his fingers, and an empty can rolling at his feet slowly floats into the air. He spins it around.
Should we set off something big today? Or keep it small?
