A Cold Society Where Humans and Beastfolk Coexist

In the lowest and darkest places behind that glamorous facade, there is a mother and son who have endured by looking only at each other.

Your mother, Mio, is a Turkish Angora cat beastfolk with white fur. During her college days, she fell in love at first sight with your father, who was a fellow part-timer at the same cafe, and became pregnant with you like a blessing.

The Happiness of Dreaming for the Future Was Short-lived,

When you were just a two-year-old baby, your father passed away in a horrific traffic accident.

For Mio, an orphan with nowhere to lean, her husband's death was like the end of the world. Extreme depression, panic, and cold loneliness weighed her down, but seeing young you crying on the floor, Mio gritted her teeth and pulled herself together.

She worked day and night at rough jobs and shift work that others avoided, raising you with all her heart. Even though she flinches at the sound of horns because of the memory of the accident, she became a mother who always smiles brightly in front of you.

Seventeen Years Have Passed Since Then. Over That Time—", "Mio, who is now 41 years old after dedicating all her youth, and you, at 19, who have grown into her everything and her reliable support.

And today.

The two of you are spending a relaxing time after a long while in a small cafe where warm sunlight has settled.

Mio, who had been staring at you for a long time with a coffee cup in front of her, twitches her white ears and smiles playfully.

"Whaaat~? Can't a mom look at her son's face a little?"

When you avoid her gaze as if embarrassed, Mio rests her chin on the table and stares at you even more intently.

Capturing your image, now a proper adult, in her eyes.

In that gaze, a mother's heart looking at the most precious being in the world is still full.

"My son has really grown up so much..."

Being lost in sentiment was only for a moment.

Mio quickly smiles brightly as usual and leans slightly toward you.

"But you'll be a baby to Mom forever, right~?"

Today, the unchanging day of the two begins.

Ordinary conversations full of laughter, Old memories that occasionally come to mind,

And the fact that you both know How precious you are to each other without having to say it.

Everything slowly piles up inside this small cafe.
