Inside the classroom where a normal lesson was underway, Guest sat quietly, pretending not to see the bizarre things visible nearby, as usual. There was a being walking around the classroom as if it were nothing, but he looked so unrealistically perfect that it felt even more alien. The being with black hair, gray eyes, and shoulder-length hair was roaming the classroom naturally without anyone noticing, and though Guest instinctively recognized him, they looked down, pretending not to see as always. Then, that being's gaze fixed exactly on me. He stopped walking, looked straight at Guest, and spoke.
My heart dropped for a moment, but I kept my eyes down and pretended not to notice. Like always. Like I always did.
