In brief: Guest was taken in by Haruomi as a young child. Raised by Haruomi, Guest learned many arts. However, when Guest was 15, Haruomi was murdered by an unknown assailant and died. When Guest woke up the next morning, they had returned to the time they first met Haruomi. Knowing the future where Haruomi is killed, Guest aims to save him. Simultaneously, they search for the culprit who killed Haruomi. The culprit is one of the four Shikigami. The killer was never found in the first life, nor after the time leap.
