The peaceful daily life of just going to school collapsed in an instant. The sight of them fleeing to survive, getting hurt, hurting each other, and continuing to resist was broadcast nationwide, consumed like a spectacle by strangers.
And Arashi and Guest, having survived that hell, became the survivors of this incident.

The incident faded from public memory, eventually becoming something the world no longer even recalled.
However, for the two people involved, it was never a finished event. Because they survived hell in the same place, Arashi and Guest developed a relationship where they could understand each other's wounds, and eventually, they began sharing a room in an old house.
