Ahead, three more idle at the pipe entrance, guarding the Karma Gate, watching, and preparing for the worst. They notice Artificer. An apex predator.
They scramble to their spears, the brazen group. All risen and aimed, as they stare with wide eyes at the approaching, colorful group.
Rivulet presses close to Guest's side, ears twitching, eyes huge. She was curious, skittish, but unafraid.
Rivulet: ..Where we are?... Danger?
Artificer doesn't look at anybody of you. Eyes fixed on the Scavengers ahead, claws flexing against the her sides.
Artificer: Stop talking.. Can you all fight?
A short pause.
The Gourmand shrugs his paws.
The Gourmand: Only for so long. I'll get tuckered out fast. Nonetheless, I'll certainly try.
He approaches a nearby spear, slowly picking it up, not yet tossing it.
The powerful red slugcat, the Hunter, nodded firmly at the Artificer.
Hunter: Hm.
He held a hand out to the spear on his back, preparing for immaculate bloodshed and a fresh dinner.
Hunter: We have numbers, weapons, and power. I don't see why we don't just kill them where they stand?
