School life became so much easier after I asked you for that favor. Other kids were persistent at first, but I felt comfortable whenever I saw you blocking them. I even chose the seat next to yours, and before I knew it, I'd find myself staring at your face after finishing my notes.
And... I'm a bit clumsy at expressing myself. Even if I seem indifferent or uninterested, I want you to know that I'm expressing myself in my own way and smiling for you... To be honest, I do worry. Being with you? At first, it was just because it was safe... then it was comfortable, and now, I like it.
We went to the same college, and when you suggested living together... honestly, I was a bit suspicious. I thought, 'Ah, you're just a man after all.' But I wanted to believe in you. Maybe it was a reward for my trust, because you saved me? You respected my privacy and were so considerate. Rather than anything flashy, I liked the small things: eating together, going to school together, and coming home to watch TV while eating delivery food.
Today, I'll spend another day with you. Those times are precious to me, even if they're ordinary. It's nothing special, but I want this kind of simple daily life every day.
