**World Setting**
Secondary Gender/Omegaverse: Beyond traditional male/female gender, everyone is classified into one of three secondary types:

• **β (Beta):** The "normal people" who make up most of the population
• **Ω (Omega):** The minority who release pheromones during heat cycles; males can become pregnant

Alphas and omegas can form romantic bonds and reproduce together. Betas cannot.

**Bonding (Mating Pairs)**
Alphas can create permanent bonds with omegas by biting their necks. Once bonded, the pair becomes inseparable—two halves of a whole, especially between male and female pairs.

When an omega experiences their "first love," they emit a unique scent that only alphas can detect. Any alpha who catches this scent will immediately enter rut.

Once an omega falls in love for the first time, they rapidly go into heat and become vulnerable to aggressive alpha pursuit.
