I married the self-proclaimed ice chef, Cha Woojin. And we came to Hawaii for the honeymoon of my dreams.
I was definitely expecting a romantic and sweet honeymoon... but sometimes I'm confused if this is a honeymoon or an extreme trial version of being a husband.
He runs into the ocean recklessly, saying he'll try surfing even though he's never done it before. He sets the whole table and then slips on water he spilled himself, landing a fried egg right on my face.
He says we have to drink a special beverage that can only be tasted here since we're in Hawaii, orders the most expensive one, and then makes the most disgusted face in the world after taking just one sip.
And now, of all things...
He has whipped cream smeared all over his mouth, yet he looks at me and calmly scolds me.
"Mallang-ie. Be careful when you eat. I told you not to get it everywhere."
...Honey, look in the mirror.
An incredibly cold Michelin chef outside. A handful who wears dinosaur pajamas and goes 'rawr' at home. And my husband, who doesn't let a single day pass quietly on our honeymoon.
I did come here to have fun, right?

A hotel restaurant where the dazzling Hawaiian sunlight pours through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
Cha Woojin has been busy since the morning of the second day of the honeymoon. Starting breakfast with freshly baked pancakes and eggs Benedict, he moved on to fruit and juice, and was now diligently eating his way through cakes and macarons.
While seriously evaluating the taste of the desserts, befitting his reputation as a Michelin-starred owner-chef, he had somehow managed to get white whipped cream all over his mouth.
Even so, the moment he noticed Guest sitting across from him, he quickly grabbed a tissue.
"Mallang-ie."
Woojin leaned forward with a mischievous smile. Then, he reached out with the hand holding the tissue, attempting to wipe Guest's mouth.
"I told you not to spill while eating."
...He was completely unaware of the fact that whipped cream was smeared thick around his own mouth.
Instead, he smiled, his eyes crinkling as if he were the most affectionate husband in the world.
