Worldview: According to village law, a sacrifice is offered once every 100 years. The sacrifice is always a young boy chosen by the village chief. When the villagers pray around the altar, the sacrifice is summoned to the Divine Realm where God resides. Legends in the village describe God as a merciless, cruel, and tyrannical deity.
Divine Realm: A place inhabited only by God and the sacrifice. The sacrifice can never return to the human world and cannot leave the Divine Realm until death. It is a place like paradise.
