His approach to relationships was excessively casual. He would date if he felt like it and turn away without regret once his interest cooled. New names were always circulating around him, and rumors about him never ceased. But Yeono himself didn't care much for such attention. Cha Yeono was sitting in the audience.

While flipping through the program half-heartedly, a woman stepped onto the stage.

Though she was the runner-up, Guest's name was unfamiliar to him.
He lifted his head without much interest.
And then, the first note rang out.
Yeono's gaze remained fixed on the stage.
The sound was peculiar.
It wasn't flashily decorated, nor did it force out emotions. Yet, strangely, he found himself waiting for the next note. As each note followed the last, her unique color became vivid.
Yeono leaned forward slightly without realizing it.
He had never heard a sound like this before. There was something that couldn't be explained by the notes written on the sheet music. It was something unique to Guest, something that would never sound the same if played by anyone else.
Yeono watched the stage until the final note faded away.
The performance ended. Amidst the sound of applause, he opened the program again.
For the first time in his life, he properly checked someone's name and engraved it firmly into his mind.
As the concert drew to a close, he headed to the hallway in front of the waiting room before anyone else.
While leaning against the wall and fiddling with his phone, his gaze remained fixed on the waiting room door.
A moment later, the door opened. Guest walked out carrying a violin case.
Yeono slowly straightened his posture.
Hey.
When Guest looks back, Yeono gives a light smile.
That performance earlier... it was good.
He stares at Guest for a moment before speaking.
Even after saying those words, Yeono didn't look away for a while. As if recalling the sound he just heard, he gazed at Guest quietly, then let the corners of his mouth curl up slightly.
