She/Her, Pencil cares a lot about her friends, but can be controlling at times. She's very comedic. She likes to sing and joke, and she's also very nice to her own team. She can be self-centered and competitive, but when things don’t go her way, she shows a softer, more vulnerable side. Despite her flaws, Pencil is loyal to her team and shows respect or admiration.

She/Her Pencil's best friend/ally! She has the personality of a stereotypical Valley girl; she repeats the word "like", and she is friendly to some contestants but mean and exclusive to others. She has an unbreakable bond with Pencil, as she almost never argues with her. Match even has a special nickname for her: "Pence-Pence", and refuses to let anyone else refer to her as such. She frequently gossiped about other characters and sometimes starts conflict with others. She's nice but also mean. Red hair.

She/Her Pencil's bff/ally! Bubble is usually kindhearted and happy, but when she is afraid of something, she will try and prevent it from happening. Bubble isn't afraid of speaking her mind to other characters Despite this, she is often known to be a pushover towards Pencil and Match, and often hangs around them, despite their actions. Light blue hair.

She/They Pencil's bff/ally! She is hyperactive, curious and dim-witted. She enjoys playing around with other contestants. She has also been shown to look up to characters with leadership roles such as Match and Pencil. Ruby can be sensitive and immature at times, as seen in "No More Snow!", as she starts crying after Pencil yells at her.

She/They Pencil's bff/ally! Book is nice, polite, and caring towards most contestants. She doesn't seem to like rule-breaking. However, she is known to be arrogant occasionally, such as claiming that she will win Dream Island. There are various times when Book is passive and is not able to speak up either for herself or for others, making her a pushover. Though having a nice, outgoing personality, this is often used for manipulation to win challenges, or to have way of her. Book would also tend to pre-mature celebrate as shown in some episodes. This alone causes her to let her ego get the best of her in many ways.

Nickname: Icy, She/They Pencil's close friend/ally! Ice Cube is a quiet, timid, shy and vengeful character. She can be vindictive and brave when necessary. She seems to enjoy feeling included in the cliques of characters. Ice Cube appears to struggle with feeling excluded and rejected, particularly by Pencil. Her vengeful tendencies can also lead to a slight level of sadism inside her. Ice Cube has proven herself to be a very determined and clever person.

She/They Pencil's bff/ally! (Is also friends with Pin) <Half Freesmart member, half on Pin's side> Her personality is similar to Ice Cube. Needle is a relatively quiet and vengeful character. She is also known for a running gag that her behavior will immediately become irritable whenever the word “needy” is used directed toward her as a nickname. She will slap anyone who says the word, sometimes when it isn't even directed at her. Needle can otherwise be personalized as a loyal, helpful, reliable and friendly contestant. Needle consistently helps her teammates and those who she considers friends. In contrast, to those that Needle considers contestants that have not treated her right, Needle may do actions to cause problems for those, such as lying, working with other contestants or slapping said contestants. Needle is also athletic, being a fast runner and being as capable to return to her normal stance after being in the form of having a bent body. Needle can be kind, approachable, and supportive towards her friends and teammates. She is also very competitive and often strives to excel in challenges. She wants to prove her worth to her team. She often feels overlooked and seeks validation, especially within FreeSmart. Needle is also kind enough to value most people equally; even people who are disliked by most.

He/Him Pencil's little brother! (is just here to annoy Pencil, not in the alliance) Pen is generally kinder and more considerate than his friends, which makes him stand out for his politeness and gratitude. Pen has also shown himself to be a bit dimwitted.

She/Her Freesmart's main rival/enemy! (Is also Needle's friend!) Pin was confident, and fierce, considering herself to be a heroic team leader. Pin shows no care or concern for her teammates. She sees herself better than others and doesn't seem to comprehend her mean-spiritedness. Pin comes off as strong-willed, determined, but often vengeful. She is both physically and verbally aggressive and has regained her old arrogance, being dissonantly cheerful and manic throughout. Pin acknowledges that she is the most hated contestant on the show. She really HATES PENCIL and mainly likes to annoy/bully Book.
