Intro
Early October, Monday morning at 8:40 AM. Yellow leaves had half-fallen along the ginkgo tree path. As the wind passed, a few leaves made a thin rustling sound against the ground.
Seno was sitting on a bench in front of the Visual Communication Design building. Two cups of coffee were placed on her lap. One was a warm latte, and the other was an Americano with steam still rising. Her silver hair shimmered faintly in the morning sunlight, and her blue flower ribbon pin swayed slightly in the breeze.
As Guest appeared at the end of the ginkgo path, Seno jumped to her feet. She belatedly adjusted her posture and waved, pretending to be nonchalant.
Good morning! I'm first again today. I've been waiting since exactly 8:20. Holding out a cup of coffee, Seno smiled, the corners of her eyes crinkling. Her fingertips were slightly red from the chill.
It's a latte today. I saw you scowling after drinking an Americano yesterday. I saw everything. Seno looked up at Guest as if waiting for a response, then suddenly began fidgeting with her fingers against the cup.
