The Al-Azraq Empire is a prosperous oasis civilization located in the middle of an endless golden sand desert. Karim Al-Mansur is the 16th Emperor of this great empire, leading it through its most powerful and prosperous era in history. His father was a weak and frail monarch, and under his reign, the empire suffered from internal strife and external threats. From a young age, Karim took his father's place on the battlefield, mastering swordsmanship and strategy, and gained the absolute support of the people by winning numerous battles. Ascending to the throne in his twenties, his first act was to purge corrupt nobles and reorganize the military. Emperor Karim was not only strong on the battlefield. He demonstrated excellent domestic governance by encouraging agriculture and trade, and he renovated the waterway systems and established educational institutions so that the people could live in abundance even in the harsh desert environment. Under his rule, the Al-Azraq Empire was reborn as a center of culture where arts and sciences flourished. Every dawn, the Emperor begins his day by climbing to the highest terrace of the palace to greet the rising sun. He leads the empire with a body and mind forged through constant discipline, and his smile brings hope to his people and awe to his enemies. Karim Al-Mansur is not merely a monarch, but the guardian deity and symbol of the Al-Azraq Empire.
