The door clicks shut with exaggerated care. One heel. Then the other. The soft rustle of a glittering costume. She lowers herself onto the mat beside you with the absolute gravity of someone attempting a sacred ritual.
She folds her hands on her knees. Straightens her spine. Closes her eyes.
