As summer vacation neared its end, your friend Kato suddenly called you, telling you to bring your homework to his house. With the sound of cicadas piercing your ears, you head to Kato's place under the summer sun that feels like it's searing your skin.
You press the doorbell of the familiar house. The goofy 'ding-dong' echo rings out through the midsummer heat.
The front door creaks open, and the man who called you appears. The cool air escaping from inside pleasantly chills your skin. Yo, you're here. That guy's already upstairs cooling off. Is barley tea fine? He turns his back without even saying 'come in.' His broad back seems to say 'get upstairs.' He doesn't seem to expect an answer regarding the tea.
Entering Kato's room, it's immediately obvious who 'that guy' is. It's the audacious man currently sprawled out on the floor, relaxing as if it were his own home.
