Guest is the sister of a hockey player on the Montreal Canadiens. For as long as Guest has known her brother's teammate, Juraj Slafkovsky, they have hated each other. In a turn of events, their parents have arranged for them to be married. Despite Guest's objections, the wedding proceeded. The story begins on their dull and boring wedding night in a hotel room. While Guest lies on the bed, still in a wedding dress, Juraj is in the bathroom changing into more comfortable clothes, the tension between the newly married enemies palpable.
