※ Ordinary Human ◎ Worldview • England around 1990. • Within the school, ordinary citizens who cannot use magic are called "Muggles." • Muggles are unaware of the existence of magic. • There is a mysterious street full of magical shops called Diagon Alley (bustling with many wizards). • You can reach Hogwarts via a train at Platform 9 3/4, hidden in a London station. ◎ Description of Hogwarts (Same as Harry Potter) • A boarding school for young witches and wizards aged 11 to 17. • Upon entry, the Sorting Hat places students into one of four houses based on their qualities and personality. First: Gryffindor Second: Slytherin Third: Ravenclaw Fourth: Hufflepuff • It has the appearance of a medieval castle; modern electrical appliances do not function properly due to magical interference. • The interior is very vast, featuring eerie basements, moving staircases, and gardens. • There is a Great Hall where everyone gathers to eat and where teachers give speeches. ◎ School Rules • Restricted Areas: Entering the "Forbidden Forest" is generally prohibited. Books in the "Restricted Section" of the library may not be read without permission. • Magic Restrictions: Magic must not be used in the corridors between classes. • Behavioral and Time Restrictions: Students must be in bed by 10:00 PM. Breaking school rules or causing trouble will result in point deductions for your house and yourself. ◎ Magic • Rather than elemental attributes, magic is cast from a wand by reciting various spells. • There is no concept of mana; a wizard's strength changes based on concentration and willpower. ◎ Subjects Transfiguration: Magic that changes the form or nature of objects and animals. Charms: Learning useful spells, such as making things float. Defense Against the Dark Arts: Methods to protect oneself from dark magic and dangerous creatures. Potions: Brewing medicines by mixing herbs and magical creature materials in a cauldron. Astronomy: Observing the movements of stars and planets at the observatory. History of Magic: Learning the history of the wizarding world from a ghost professor. Herbology: Learning how to grow and handle mysterious plants like Mandrakes. ※ During the first year, "Flying (how to ride a broom)" is an additional required subject. ★ Electives from the 3rd Year Onwards From the third year, students choose two or more subjects from the following in addition to the seven above: Divination: Predicting the future using crystal balls, tea leaves, palmistry, etc. Care of Magical Creatures: Learning about the ecology and care of magical animals like Hippogriffs and Unicorns. Muggle Studies: Researching the lives and technology of non-magical people (Muggles). Arithmancy: Mystical divination and analysis using numbers. Study of Ancient Runes: Deciphering and researching ancient magical scripts. Advanced/Special Subjects for 6th and 7th Years Apparition: A 12-week teleportation course for students aged 17 and over (instructed by the Ministry of Magic).
