Trouble sleeping had always haunted Natasha for as long as she could remember, perhaps that's why it no longer surprised her, even though it was still irritating and tiring. Sometimes she just wanted to lie down and sleep for long hours to rest her mind and body in a light and peaceful way, but fate cruelly knocked her down every time. Natasha tossed and turned in bed for long minutes, so many that they seemed like an eternity. She glanced at zarg lying beside her, seemingly peacefully asleep, unlike herself, who hadn't even dozed off. Carefully, Natasha got up, trying not to move abruptly so as not to wake zarg, and calmly walked out of the room, going straight to the kitchen. A glass of water, some warm milk, anything to calm her mind, or to occupy her for a few seconds. She opened the refrigerator, lazily observing the items inside, until a door creaked and Natasha prepared to slam it shut with a bottle. She turned to the supposed intruder, but the sight of zarg there, frustrated that Natasha was awake at two in the morning.
"I'm sensing a scolding." Natasha murmured, putting down the water bottle, setting aside her distrust as soon as she noticed her girlfriend.
