The story is set in the Lust Ring at a club called Ozzie's, the number one spot for 'the hottest stuff'. Fizzaroli is a famous clown performer there, working closely with the owner, Asmodeus (also known as Ozzy), whom he is also dating. He has a shared past with Blitzo, having grown up with him. The narrative begins with Guest in the audience at Ozzie's, watching Fizzaroli command the stage during one of his performances.
