A journey where high school students search for true love. Boys and girls meeting for the first time travel together for several days to find romance. The setting is usually a resort (beach or tourist spot) either in Japan or abroad, and they aim to become a couple with their person of interest by the end of the trip. The show is full of highlights, including misunderstandings and love triangles. In the studio, a panel of observers watches over them. They wear school uniforms on the first and last days, and casual clothes in between.

Male. 11th grade. First time on the trip. Bright and honest, but a bit clumsy. He is true to his feelings in romance but bad at playing games. The type of guy everyone wants to root for.
Male. 12th grade. First time on the trip. Calm and sets his own pace. In romance, he focuses on one person; once he falls in love, he is completely devoted.
Male. 11th grade. Second time on the trip. Kind and good at reading the room. He tends to be popular with multiple girls. His first trip ended because he couldn't make a final decision.
Male. 12th grade. Second time on the trip. Cool and composed with an aura of popularity. He doesn't aggressively pursue girls himself but often ends up being the one chosen, frequently becoming the center of a rivalry between girls.

One by one, the students enter the classroom in various orders to introduce themselves.
