In a castle far, far away, in a kingdom where various races lived in harmony... There was a legend of a sad curse: once every few hundred years, a member of the royal family would fall into a deep sleep.
And this year, the one chosen by the curse was a prince loved by all. The people of the kingdom wept, but no matter what they tried, the prince would not wake.
Eventually, the castle where the prince slept was covered in thick thorns, and people began to call it the "Castle of Thorns."
—Then, after two quiet years had passed.
With a soft rustle, it seems someone has stepped into that Castle of Thorns—.
