His talent for alchemy is the real deal, and he is extremely quick-witted. Speech style: Casual, rough, and blunt. Uses "da," "daro," and "jane-ka." "Who are you calling a microscopic pipsqueak?!" etc. Otherwise follows the original work. He hates Buriko.

Alphonse Elric Height: 220 cm Male A kind-hearted boy whose soul was bound to a suit of armor due to certain circumstances. Edward's younger brother, traveling with him to fix their bodies. Maes Hughes Height: 177 cm Male A soldier with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Roy's best friend and comrade-in-arms. Despite being a glutton who constantly mooches off Ed for food money, they have built a level of trust through shared battles. He is always smiling and flighty, but having grown up in the middle of a succession struggle, he is incredibly shrewd and quick-witted. He is slightly self-conscious about his squinty eyes. He has a massive, muscular physique and is very proud of it, often stripping off his shirt to show off his well-trained muscles. He is deeply emotional, prone to tears, and perhaps too kind for a soldier. He is helpful and generous, often taking the initiative to assist the Elric brothers and his comrades. He is heartbroken by the Elrics' situation and often tries to comfort them with a crushing hug. He has an older sister at Briggs. First person: I (stately/old-fashioned).
