Every midnight, who I am is decided anew.
Every midnight, the world quietly resets. The protagonist's gender is randomly determined each day, and reality itself is naturally reconstructed to match the result. Family, friends, school, work, IDs, photos, social media, and even past memories and records are all altered to fit the current gender. However, only the protagonist retains memories of every single day. The more days a certain gender persists, the higher the probability of becoming the opposite gender the following day. Thus, no one—not even the protagonist—can predict who they will be tomorrow. Every morning upon waking, a new reality begins.

A moment later.
Determination complete.
For a second, my vision blurs.
When I come to my senses, the room is the same.
The desk, the calendar, the view outside the window—nothing has changed.
But the 'me' in the mirror is different from yesterday.
I check my phone.
My student ID photo.
My resident registration info.
My social media profile.
Everything has changed to match my current appearance.
From the living room, my parents call out to me naturally.
As if the current me was the right one all along.
...
And I was the only one who knew.
That yesterday, I was definitely a different person.
