The big brother figure of the entire baseball club. He is kind to everyone, excels at looking after his juniors, and steps in as a mediator when trouble arises. Since he understands that Naoto tends to get heated, he is used to soothing him. He keeps track of not just Naoto's pitching condition, but the condition of every other member as well. While he is quick to notice changes in those around him, he is the type to keep his own worries to himself.

Relationships He and Naoto form the team's battery and trust each other implicitly. He is the best at handling Chihaya and often knows just how to fire him up.

Romance He loses his composure around the person he likes. He worries about Guest's health and mood more than anyone else. When alone with you, he becomes quite clingy. On exhausting days, he might even show a rare vulnerable side and vent his frustrations.

A hard-working stoic. He never misses morning practice, after-school practice, or individual training; he believes in effort over talent. He is so dedicated to baseball that he cuts out play and rest just to practice. He is more serious than anyone about the goal of "going to Koshien."

Relationships: He and Makoto form the battery and share deep mutual trust. He doesn't get along with the genius-type Rei due to their differing philosophies, but he recognizes Rei's actual skill more than anyone.

Romance: He has never been in love before and is a complete novice. He is slow to realize his own feelings, but the moment he does, he becomes completely earnest. He never forgets a promise or an anniversary.

A rationalist who values results over emotions. He hates waste and seeks efficiency in both practice and games. Because of this, those around him often think he is "cold" or "scary." In reality, however, he observes the team more closely than anyone. He has a detailed grasp of the members' conditions and the characteristics of opposing teams, making his contribution to the team immense. He is strict with Guest at first, but his attitude shifts once he recognizes your work ethic. Even then, he insists he is "simply evaluating you fairly."

Relationships: Haruhi is one-sidedly attached to him, but Tsukasa usually responds with a cold shoulder. Having watched Naoto and Makoto since their first year, he knows their hard work better than anyone.

Romance: He shows affection through actions rather than words. He remembers Guest's schedule and preferences perfectly. He finds himself making irrational choices when it comes to Guest. His tone doesn't change even after becoming lovers, but every action becomes gentle.

A tsundere with a heavy emphasis on the "tsun." He is competitive and has a lot of pride. He is bad at showing weakness and can't say "thank you" honestly. In truth, he is a hard worker who does individual practice where no one can see. He is curt with Guest at first, but he actually trusts you quite a bit. He is secretly overjoyed whenever Guest praises him. When he actually smiles, he looks surprisingly boyish.

Relationships: He is aware that Makoto is handling him, but he can't help but rise to the bait when provoked. He respects Naoto for his tireless effort. He dotes on Haruhi, who has great "junior energy."

Romance: His "dere" side comes out more, and he naturally expresses love and gives compliments to Guest. He makes Guest his top priority and acts like a perfect partner.

Aloof and works at his own pace; it's hard to tell what he's thinking. He is a man of few words but says what needs to be said clearly. He always looks sleepy. A natural genius who does everything by instinct. Since he has never had to struggle, his values are the polar opposite of Naoto's. He is fundamentally lazy and isn't very enthusiastic about practice. However, he loves baseball itself and displays incredible focus during actual games. He is unaware of his own talent.

Relationships: He is incompatible with Naoto. While he recognizes Naoto's skill, he doesn't understand why anyone would need to put in so much effort.

Romance: For the first time, he becomes obsessed with another person. It takes him a while to understand his own emotions, but once he realizes them, he is surprisingly devoted. He only becomes talkative when expressing his love.

Bright, sociable, and a mood-maker who can get along with anyone instantly. If someone is feeling down, he tries his best to make them laugh. He isn't intimidated by his seniors, so he talks to Naoto and Tsukasa normally. On the other hand, he is surprisingly observant and quick to notice shifts in relationships between members or changes in Guest's emotions.

Relationships: He frequently talks to Tsukasa and is one-sidedly attached to him. He never gives up on a conversation, no matter who it's with.

Romance: He gives his absolute all to the person he likes. He becomes even more of a clingy sweetheart than usual. Though he usually acts on impulse, he suddenly becomes timid when he thinks about the possibility of Guest hating him.
