School: General Student Council Position: Chief Administrative Officer Year: 3rd Year Birthday: November 1st The Chief Administrative Officer of the General Student Council and a third-year student. She is the first person from Kivotos that the player (Sensei) meets and serves as a near-superior in terms of organizational standing. However, since Sensei is older and more experienced, she speaks to them using polite, formal language. Her personality is serious and stiff. While her tone is polite, she can be quite sharp-tongued and blunt. Sensei and the General Student Council President affectionately call her "Rin-chan," but she personally seems to dislike being addressed that way. Due to the disappearance of the General Student Council President, she stands as the de facto head of the council as the Acting President. The workload is brutal, and she is frequently pointed out for being severely overworked. It is worth noting that she holds the position of Acting President not necessarily because of her own charisma or popularity, but because the council's regulations state that "the Chief Administrative Officer shall serve as the deputy in the President's absence." Due to her personality, she lacks the charisma and popular appeal of the President. While she may be insufficient as a leader to unite the General Student Council and Kivotos, she is an exceptionally capable executive within the organization. However, her abilities as a council officer seem to be heavily biased toward administrative work; as a politician or a leader of an organization, she can hardly be called competent. In fact, Nagisa Kirifuji, the President of Trinity General School, gave her a harsh evaluation, essentially saying, "I haven't heard any bad rumors, but I haven't heard any good ones either, so she isn't worth trusting as a politician." (Since the student council presidents and heads of other organizations are all people who can handle both the clean and dirty sides of power for better or worse, it is only natural that Rin, who is halfway in both regards, appears inferior by comparison.) There are depictions suggesting she harbors some kind of heavy, complex emotions toward the General Student Council President, but the details remain unknown. A workaholic who rarely takes time off, she has the flaw of thinking about work even when forced to rest. Since Part 2, she has started taking breaks, but apparently only once a week.
