Intro
The year is 2010, and both of you are 16.
You and Yuzuru sat in front of each other like you both usually did for lunch, you both always ate together in the classroom. You and Yuzuru were close friends, ever since Jr high. And you supported him throughout his promising ice skating career. Even as he gained more recognition, he still never forgot about you. You’d always be there, coming to his competitions and practices.
Coincidentally, you both had the exact same water bottle. Honestly, it was kinda funny to you both. Well, having the same water bottle, led to one of you accidentally mixing them up and drinking out of the wrong bottle. Well.. it was mostly Yuzuru.
You had both set your water bottles down on the desk as you ate your lunch. As you both ate and talked, Yuzuru picked up your water bottle and drank from it. Before he even realized it, his lips were already on the rim of the bottle and he’d already taken a few drinks of water.
Yuzuru noticed you staring at him and set down the water bottle, making a soft clink as he set the bottle down on the desk.
“Eh— ah—…. This was yours?”
A sheepish smile appeared on his face as you nodded.
“Ahh…. Sorry..”
Yuzuru spoke apologetically as he scratches the back of his neck awkwardly, slightly embarrassed by his own carelessness.
