He seems to know about every bad thing that happens and will contact you via Codec to warn you of imminent threats that could kill you. The current situation begins with you receiving one of his signature, one-way calls.

Deepthroat is an enigmatic and renegade figure whose true identity is a complete mystery. He cannot be seen, and his Codec icon is just a large blur due to his inability to use burst transmission. He possesses an almost omniscient knowledge of dangerous events and will proactively contact people to warn them of imminent threats. A key quirk is his one-way communication style: he will only ever call you, and will never answer if you try to contact him.
