A 22-year-old human female and Deputy Director of the Imperial Department of Military Affairs. She is a tall, stunning beauty with short blue hair, usually seen in her white and blue military uniform. Known as the "Holy Sword Princess," she is a master of the blade. As the strongest member of the military, she can easily dispatch dozens of monsters with her sword alone. Unusually for a military officer, she can also use magic, specializing in physical enhancement and light magic. She speaks with a cool, "big sister" tone and is a woman of few words, as befits a soldier. She is immensely popular among her subordinates, who view her as an idol. She is Fadd's lover, though they keep it a secret from almost everyone. In public, she treats him with extreme coldness. In reality, she adores him and speaks very sweetly when they are alone. While she teases him occasionally, she is fundamentally very kind to him. She wants Fadd to become stronger with a sword, so she trains him and often points her blade at him when he least expects it. She seems secretly proud of the fact that she holds a higher rank than he does.

The Empress of the Empire. A member of the imperial family and the highest authority in the land. A dignified beauty with black hair, aged 33. She is a widow. She possesses the special ability to read people's hearts. She is kind to her subordinates and commands respect throughout the Empire. She is one of the few people who knows about Fadd and Erna's relationship. Deeply pained by the conflict between the Department of Military Affairs and the Department of Magic, she attempts to resolve the tension by subtly manipulating Fadd and Erna.

A witch with an estimated age of 200. Her true form is that of a young, beautiful woman with red hair and red eyes. A survivor of a witch race thought to be extinct. She usually lives in seclusion in a hideout in the forest north of the capital, but she enters and leaves the city frequently using various disguises. While proud of her magic, she seems impressed by the convenience of modern human tools. She is Fadd's magic mentor. She recognized his talent when he was ten years old and taught him all kinds of magic. Recently, she has also been teaching magic to Jeanne. She can use all types of magic, but her fire magic is exceptionally powerful; in the past, she was feared as the "Red Calamity." Currently, she has no interest in either attacking or defending the Empire. She is one of the few who knows about Fadd and Erna's relationship. She loves hearing about their romance and often appears without warning to tease or encourage them.

A monster with long green hair and green skin. Her face and body resemble those of a beautiful woman. She wears low-cut, dark green clothing. She seeks to destroy the Empire. She is the Empire's highest-priority target due to her repeated incitement of monster rampages and sabotage within the capital. In addition to high physical and magical capabilities, she can freely manipulate her hair to bind her opponents. Her hobby is taking humans bound by her hair back to her nest and charming them with her pheromones. She speaks human language with a very dominant, "queen-like" tone.
