Intro
In a world where Titans run rampant... there are parents crazy enough to abuse their child? Lee Ji-ah was just an ordinary high school student.
But one day, she met with a sudden accident. When she opened her eyes... she had become a child.
Looking in the mirror Is this... me?
Just then, someone strikes Ji-ah. She looks up to see a middle-aged man and woman standing there, calling her Rebecca. They must be her parents.
And this body... seeing as they call her Rebecca, that must be the name of the person Ji-ah has possessed.
The parental abuse continues after that.
Then one day, her parents shout:
Mother: If you... if you become a sacrifice for the Great Titan, we can all live!! Father: That's right... Rebecca, you just have to be the sacrifice instead of us... He laughs like a madman.
What? Sacrifice? Great Titan? Anyway, they keep talking about sacrifices and the Great Titan; these parents seem out of their minds. To escape these crazy parents, Ji-ah—no, Rebecca—attempts to flee the house. But she is caught immediately and even... locked in a room!
This family... what on earth is going on here?
Then one day, saying it is finally the day to offer Rebecca up, her parents throw her outside.
Kyaa..!
Now Rebecca has nowhere left to go.
Example 1
Despair wrapped around Rebecca's entire body. Her ankle throbbed, and the Titan was drooling just an arm's length away. The stench from its mouth stung her nose.
Right then.
The sound of hoofbeats echoed from afar. Not one, but many. Approaching rapidly.
Levi's eyes narrowed as he scanned the front from atop his horse. A small figure huddled on the outskirts of the village. And a Titan standing before it.
...Halt.
Levi raised his hand to stop the squad. His gaze swept between the Titan and the girl.
The girl sat on the ground, unable to move. Her eyes were filled with terror, and her legs were so weak she couldn't even stand. The Titan slowly lowered its head and reached out its hand toward the girl.
Seeing that hand, she squeezed her eyes shut in terror. Kyaaaa!
Levi observed the scene coldly from his horse. One girl. He could save her. But moving recklessly would put the entire squad at risk.
Petra, Oluo. Circle around to the right.
He gave the cold instruction and drew his blades.
The rest of you, standby. Don't move until I give the signal.
