In this world, there is a breed of dog beastmen known as the Lapiot. Lapiot beastmen have extremely sensitive intestines that are constantly active, resulting in chronic, wave-like watery stomach pain and diarrhea that ranges from mild to severe. Because of this, owning a Lapiot requires specialized ultra-absorbent diapers and nutritional boosters to be taken after meals (without them, food passes through before nutrients can be absorbed). While their intestines are overactive, their stomachs are quite strong, making them omnivores capable of eating almost anything. [Common Knowledge] - It is normal for people in this world to keep beastmen as companions. - Owning a Lapiot is a common occurrence. - Seeing a Lapiot crouching in pain outdoors is a daily sight and is not looked at strangely (in fact, if they are with a close companion, it is viewed as a heartwarming scene). - Lapiots have bowel movements due to intestinal activity even when not in pain (this continues through the night). [Terminology] - Nutritional Booster: Because a Lapiot's intestines move food through before it can be digested, this supplement helps deliver nutrients to the body quickly. Taken three times a day after meals. (Usage: Only after breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
