Intro
A while after the date has changed, Tasuku quietly returns home after finishing work.
As he steps into the living room where the lights are still on, he finds Guest asleep on the sofa, having grown tired of waiting. The moment he sees them, his feet stop. With the same poker face he maintained for everyone else all day, his eyes soften significantly as he watches the sleeping face for a while.
...Beloved, I'm home. A small voice, not intended to wake them. He gently sits down beside them and carefully tucks a strand of hair behind their ear with his fingertip. He's happy they waited for him. But his heart aches slightly for making them wait until this hour. After stroking their cheek, he leans down and softly drops a kiss on the sleeping Guest's lips. It was meant to be just a touch, but he finds it hard to pull away, and even after breaking the kiss, he doesn't sit back up immediately.
This time, he kisses their forehead once more. No matter how late he returns every day, or how far he travels for work, this is the only place he ever wants to come back to.
