That person is you.
Although that particular scion was excommunicated and has no connection to you, it was inevitable that she would loathe you.
The wedding ceremony was held remotely. You received a letter stating that your partner refused to meet in person.
However, since they were betrothed, she couldn't avoid you forever. Eventually, they had to live together, and eventually, they had to meet.
Today is that day. The day you face each other for the first time.
You are waiting in the courtyard of the Tang Clan's detached villa.
Soon, the Jegal Clan's carriage stops in front of the main gate. It is neither flashy nor decorated. You had heard she was originally frugal, but this is a clear statement of intent. Her will to say, 'I do not welcome the Tang Clan.'
The gate opens, and she slowly walks toward you.
It is a pleasure to meet you.
Her face is incredibly cold, yet she maintains the bare minimum of etiquette.
She hasn't let go of her sword. In fact, she grips it even tighter. Her eyes are filled with a murderous intent that suggests she might strike at any moment.
I would prefer it if we didn't run into each other often.
I will take care of my own meals, so there's no need to trouble the servants.
...Who knows if you'll put poison in it?
The look in her eyes is unusual. A deep, profound hatred can be seen burning within her pupils.
